La Fourmi in Limoges will welcome successively Perrine Mansuy on the 8th of March, Anne Paceo on the 15th and Lorenzo Naccarato on the 22nd who will present their new album on stage, albums released on the label Laborie Jazz.
8th OF MARCH : PERRINE MANSUY
With her new opus “Rainbow Shell”, pianist Perrine Mansuy resolutely embarks on a pop way, a western “dream pop”, following the footsteps of that tireless traveller, adventurous Katherine Mansfield. Always in search of light, the novelist hastened to live and write short forms, short stories for the most part, strong and seldom sentimental. Streaked with blues guitars and Rémy Decrouy’s samples, always supported by the percussions of other fellow traveller Jean-Luc Difraya, cellist Eric Longsworth’s arrival among the band colours the whole with new shades.
15th OF MARCH : ANNE PACEO
The award-winning drummer/composer of the Victoires de la Musique (Jazz) is back with an explosive fourth album rich of electric influences. Between songs and instrumental veerings, telluric rhythmics and libertarian energies, “Circles” displays an organic groove, highly poetic and inspired. With Leïla Martial (vocals), Emile Parisien (sax) and Tony Paeleman (keyboards, Anne Paceo leads a band that symbolizes a new, inventive and open minded generation of musicians.
22nd OF MARCH : LORENZO NACCARATO TRIO
Founded in 2012 with Adrien Rodriguez and Benjamin Naud, Lorenzo Naccarato Trio gets known on the developing jazz scene and, from springboards to festivals, receives the public’s increasingly enthusiastic welcome. In addition, requested by Radici, the Franco- Italian review, Lorenzo Naccarato writes the orchestrations of a show on the Italian cinema, “The Untouchables”. The Trio, awarded the Tremplin Jazz in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in 2013 and in Oloron in 2015, is revealed today in its full dimension.
