Since 2007, the LABORIE Jazz label has followed Anne Paceo’s career with great attention. Already known through her first two albums and her group, Triphase, awarded a French “Victoire du Jazz” in 2011 and a “Django d’Or” in 2010, Anne Paceo briskly leads her career both as a leading artist and a “sidewoman”. A member of the young generation of musicians who set the pace of the French and European Jazz scene, Anne Paceo was able to combine and improve her talent and her ability to compose. She was brought up on various cultures and her recent travels (Burma, Scandinavia, Canada, ...) have revealed her capacity to create an original, subtle and delicate musical environment of which “Yôkaï” is the finest example.

The logical evolution of her work continues with the creation of this quintet in which we can meet some talents from a generation of excellence. Antonin-Tri Hoang, Pierre Perchaud, Leonardo Montana are currently involved in a number of musical projects and their talents as soloists and efficient associates have made such a band possible. Being more experienced, Stéphane Kerecki brings a valuable support and a sound basis to this quintet.
